General Information

Everything you need to fish will be provided. This includes all licenses, instruction and assistance, bait, tackle, fuel, fish cleaning and bagging. Depending on availability, I will catch bait prior to your arrival or purchase it at no additional cost to you.

The only things I recommend bringing are food and drinks, sunscreen, a camera, polarized sunglasses and rain jacket. A small cooler or bag is ok.

A $40 deposit is required to reserve a charter. Cancellations made by the customer within 7 days of the scheduled charter day will not be refunded. The captain reserves the right to cancel any charter up to the day of due to dangerous conditions. Any cancellations made by the captain may either be rescheduled or the deposit will be refunded. Refunds cannot be given beyond 60 days of receiving deposit. Contact me to reserve a date then The remaining amount will be paid in person by cash or official check only. No private checks will be accepted.

Half & Full Day Charters

Excellent year-round fishing awaits you around Fort Pierce! Trout, snook, redfish, snapper, grouper, sheepshead, black drum, flounder, pompano, tarpon, spanish mackerel, jacks, ladyfish, bluefish, and sharks may all be caught in the calm, protected waters inland of the areas beaches. In the summer boats can venture out to the beaches where they may catch cobia, kingfish, giant snook, tarpon, barracuda, and large sharks. You really never know what you're going to hook next, but there's always something fun to catch and good to eat.

It's important to leave at first light during warmer months to allow for calmer, cooler weather and more productive fishing and best to let the sun rise a little during the winter to warm things up for the fish, as well as us. Whatever your needs may be, I'll be happy to discuss your options with you and work around your schedule as much as possible.

Night Fishing Charters

I offer night fishing charters that generally target snook, snapper, or redfish but may include large trout, gag grouper, jewfish, and tarpon. All fishing is done around the Fort Pierce inlet and bridges, docks, and seawalls where artficial lighting helps illuminate the area and create shadow lines for fish to use to ambush bait. This is primarily a live bait charter using mullet, pilchards, greenies, or shrimp on heavier 30-50lb spinning tackle. In order to ease the challenge of fighting large fish at night, I can only take up to two people. These charters are generally planned around the dominant night tide and run about 4-5 hours.
